Sukabumi stone for swimming pools
A green natural stone, quarried in West Java, that gives water its characteristic turquoise reflection.

Under water: tonal variation between pieces and light patterns.
Origin: Java, with the soul of Bali
Sukabumi stone takes its name from the Indonesian region it comes from, in West Java. It is also known as “Bali stone” because it became popular in the pools of Balinese villas and hotels.
On this site we use Bali as aesthetic inspiration. The material comes from Sukabumi.

Colour and natural variation
Its base tone is green, with lighter, darker and veined pieces. When wet, the stone darkens and gains depth.
In the pool, water reflects that green as turquoise. Intensity depends on light, depth and water treatment, so two pools with the same stone never look identical.
Where it is used
- Pool shell
- Floor and walls, usually in natural finish.
- Copings
- Textured finish for its surface relief.
- Surrounds and steps
- Textured finish, after checking the required slip-resistance class.
- Curves and details
- 10×10 format, which adapts best to complex shapes.
What to check before buying
- If your project requires a slip-resistance class (in Spain, the CTE building code requires class 3 in barefoot areas and pool floors up to 1.50 m deep), ask for the documentation of the specific finish.
- The stone does not replace water treatment: we make no purification claims.
- Durability depends on installation, setting materials, sealing and maintenance.
